‘In recent years I have followed Ruth Wilkinson’s career with growing interest and admiration. The quality and professionalism of her output has been impressive. The dedication she brings to the work is furthered by her frequent visits to India in her discoveries of the Art of its many temples.
The vibrant colours and textures resonate through her use of the ceramic medium. Her excitement with the medium increases as the delicacy of her works grows. In her most recent pieces Ruth seems to have developed a painter’s sensibility which is why on a personal level, I find them both stimulating and satisfying’.
