Public Mosaic Commissions

Being commissioned for public mosaic commissions that, potentially, could be seen by 1000’s of people holds a great responsibility. It shifts from one or two peoples’ wants and ideas to many. Often the pieces are displayed in a very public place, and although it won’t appeal to everyone’s tastes and likes, I find it essential to glean as much information from people regarding what they would like to see, what is important to them, to the community and how to interpret that in a sympathetic piece of work.
